Welcome to Hawkesbury Senior's Computer Group (H.S.C.G.), which is a non profit organisation.We share our knowledge - we gladly teach - we enthusiastically learn. We have fun with computers.
It is not necessary to own a computer, know how to type, or be on the Internet to join us.
H.S.C.G. is one of a popular and expanding network of similar computer clubs for Seniors. Our aim is to assist all members to learn how to use a computer in a friendly, fun atmosphere. There is no feeling of being pressured as there might be in a formal computer school.

If you feel that H.S.C.G. is for you, please discuss your requirements, and every endeavour will be made to match you with a suitable volunteer.
If you already have a certain level of skill and would be willing to be a volunteer, phone quickly, you will be most welcome. We can always use more volunteers.
People don't want to feel that their tutor is an "expert". Many of our new tutors started as learners only 12 or so months ago, so if they are asked a question that they don't know the answer to, they will not be afraid or embarrassed to say so, and they will endeavour to find the answer for the next lesson. That way you both learn.
