Our aim is to assist all our members to learn how to use a
computer, in a friendly fun atmosphere.
1. Members must be financial.
2. It would be appreciated if fees could
be paid either before a new term starts, or during the first week of the term. Money can be paid to Peppercorn Place, 320 George Street, Windsor, or at the
office at the Centre on Wednesday or Friday mornings.
3. For safety and security, there must
always be at least 2 people in the building.
4. Members are encouraged to experiment,
but not permitted to add or delete any setting or programme.
5. Lunch time is noon to 1pm and
Volunteers are not available for tuition at this time.
6. Complaints should be in writing and
will be attended to ASAP by the Volunteer Planning Group.
7. No food or drink is to be consumed
near the computers. There is a table in the Centre of the room for this
purpose.
8. On arrival please sign the attendance
book. This is helpful for rosters, insurance and could help obtain government
grants. It is also a safety measure.
9. All printing costs must be paid by
the member.
10. All phone calls must be paid by the
member making the call.
11. The contents and distribution of all
tuition notes must be approved by the Volunteer Planning Group.
12. Volunteers are responsible for
ensuring all computers are shut down correctly, equipment turned off, air
conditioning off, lights off, windows, storeroom, filing cabinet etc locked and the alarm system on, before leaving the building.
13. Please remember that all Volunteers
give their time freely to help you, and it is possible that they may have made
a trip to the Centre especially for your lesson. If you are unable to keep a
lesson time or day, it would be appreciated if you could call your tutor, if he or she doesn't mind you having their home number, or the Centre and
leave a message with another tutor, or on the answering machine.
