Our, not for profit organization may have just what you need.
Membership: $25 per person or $40 per couple annually (Calendar Year).
Our office in the Senior Citizen's Centre, 114 March Street, Richmond, is open from 10.00am to 12.00 midday, Wednesdays and Fridays, or you can contact the secretary on 4578 1029.
Classes include:
Canasta: Audrey convenes this class of enthusiasts for, and newcomers to, this intriguing card game.
Card games: Play Canasta with Audrey or learn other card games such as Whist with Margaret.
Cryptic Crosswords: - Beginners and Continuers: Enjoy learning to solve cryptic crosswords with Noel.
Line Dancing : Get fit, exercise the mind and the body and have fun doing so. A cost of $5.00 per lesson.
Mah Jong - Beginners: Di teaches the Western style of this ancient game. 8 students needed to form a class.
Mah Jong - Continuers: Di offers players the opportunity for further learning or to brush up their skills.
Marquetry: John teaches this inexpensive art of inlaid timberwork. Initial cost of $25 for starter kit.
Music Group: Ellen asks, "Do you want to make music?" Enjoy some musical fun time. No experience necessary. Percussion instruments available or BYO guitar, keyboard, voice etc.
Tai Chi - Shibashi: Jeanette leads ladies who wish to continue with Shibashi, Lo Han and early levels of Tai Chi.
Tai Chi - Social: Other enthusiasts are welcome to join the Mah Jong Continuers Class for about an hour of relaxing Tai Chi.
U3A Online: All financial members of U3A Hawkesbury Inc. are entitled to access a variety of online courses, including courses developed in the UK, for a cost of $20 per course per year.
