We endeavour to make this club a friendly, as well as a learning experience. To this end we try to have at least two outings per year, mid December and mid July. These are usually coach trips organised using the Community Bus provided by Hawkesbury Council, minimising cost.

The last outing, in December, was lunch at Sydney Rowing Club, Abbottsford. We have also been to Bellbird Cottage, near Burragorang Valley where we stopped for morning tea.

These outings provide an avenue for meeting other members who you would not otherwise meet, as they may attend on different days. It is also an opportunity for the Tutors to socialize and get to know one another.

Training

Our training is based on what students wish to learn. This can be anything from basic computer use, to writing letters on Word or creating a spreadsheet on Excel, to Downloading Photographs from your Digital camera or scanning your old photographs and viewing and manipulating them on your computer.

Our Tutors share their knowledge with one another, improving their skills, which can then be passed on to the pupils. Please Click for Larger Image
